AI ad naming
00:05 Hello. >> Hey. >> [snorts] >> Hey, how's it going? This is always like I say it every time. So awkward being on stage. I'm just like, hey. No slide deck, guys. No no slide deck today. We're just going to We're just going to wing it here. Uh I've got Brandon with me here today for our last coaching call for AI training club, which is so sad, but I think it's going
00:28 to be I think it's going to be the best one because it's about naming conventions and I love naming conventions. I hate naming conventions, but I love automating them with AI. So, throwing it to Brandon. Brandon, can you introduce yourself? Tell us all of the amazing things that you do and everything you love about running it. >> Yeah, hey everyone. My name's Brandon. Uh I work at Mammoth Brands specifically on Harry's and Flamingo helping to manage growth marketing
00:50 uh for all of our new product innovation. Um so, you can imagine with a lot of that, there is a lot of ad naming, which we have now fully automated, which I'll talk about. But, yeah, I'm super excited to be here. Thanks for having me. >> Amazing. So good. Okay, um before anybody asks about anything, and I know some people might miss this, there's a docs tab where you're chatting that has a bunch of links in it. And yes, this replay will get sent to you. And if you
01:14 missed any of the sessions before, um all of those those replays should also be in your inbox. Um so, just search your inbox for them. They're all there. And I think they end up on YouTube at some point as well. So, you're covered. You're all good. If you have to like leave and miss something, you're not going to miss it. It's all good. Um but yeah, I'm going to throw it to Brandon right away to just like yap about naming conventions. And please feel free while he's chatting. I think Brandon has a
01:36 really interesting perspective. We come from two very different sides of creative strategy. He's so data-centered, and I'm a lot I'm a lot more of like from the creative side on design. So, if you guys have questions, please drop them in the chat. Um and I'll try to act as your confidant, your your Q&A host person, and like interrupt where I can and get some questions for you guys. So, yeah, take it away, Brandon. >> All right, cool. Alicia, if you see
01:57 anything in chat, feel free to interrupt me cuz I can't see it. Um but yeah. Okay, so what I'll be talking about today is sort of one of the main use cases we found here uh for Runes, among many others, uh which has increased our small team's overall efficiency, and that is ad naming. Um so, Alicia, you called out this quote uh last or this past Tuesday from Connor
02:21 at Ridge, and it kind of resonated with me a lot. Uh it really speaks to what we're about to dive into. Um it might be a little dramatic of a take, but ad naming can truly unlock a lot of additional benefits for a brand, and I would argue uh the more complex an ad name, the richer the insights are um that you get out of that ad. However, not every brand or team uh starts with incredibly rich ad names. Uh so, for
02:46 example, when I first started at Harry's, um and I think where a lot of small, you know, but high-velocity teams sit, is we favored speed over simplicity. We had a basic structure, so an ad name would look like this, where it contains product, uh creator, concept, maybe if you're lucky, landing page, uh and that was it. Allowed us to move super quickly in terms of, you know, launching, uh but left a lot of the ad
