The Lumara Film Festival selected six finalists from a pool of 700 submissions for its inaugural AI-focused competition. The winning entries will receive cash prizes along with model credits.

The festival is part of a wider movement in which film events serve as test beds for AI-native storytelling. Organizers are using these competitions to explore disclosure norms and to examine how human craft is evaluated when generated assets are part of the work.
