0:00 Kyle David. Today we're here to talk about the most recent update to the AI governance professional or AIGP body of knowledge. We are now in version 2.1. The uh that new body of knowledge went into effect today. So, okay, great. Thank you very much for the confirmation in chat. Wonderful. So [snorts] let's let's dive right into the presentation and all right looks okay here on my screen. I will get confirmation here on the right hand side that everything's ready to go.

0:49 So let's let's dive right into it. So we're here today to talk about the update to the the new body of knowledge. If you've been following the AI governance professional certification exam for some time, maybe you were um planning on taking it at some point in 2025, but life got in the way and and now you're looking at taking this new version of the exam. I want to make sure that you're all up to speed. You know what the major changes are so that you can target your study.

1:14 The presentation that I've put together today, this is going to be, you know, probably maybe 20 to 30 minutes. and then for the rest of the time that we have I'll, you know, be here to take your questions. So, for those of you that don't know who I am, I just want to start with a very brief introduction, who I am, my education, uh, work experience. I'm then going to talk about what the AIG certification is.

1:36 I'm going to hopefully provide you with some very uh very compelling reasons why getting AIG certified is a fantastic career choice right now. Either as a primary career that you plan on pursuing or perhaps as an adjacent skill set to privacy, cyber security, governance, risk compliance, or or some other IT or nonIT related field. We're then going to talk about the major changes to version 2.1 of the exam. There's a really very substantial change that has flown under the radar that everyone needs to be familiar with because it is going to be absolutely crucial to your success on this new version of the exam.
