Setting up the custom GPT

0:00 so many business owners around the world are struggling to find a way to implement AI into their businesses a lot of the times different employees are using chat GPT for different purposes some people are crafting content some people are drafting emails some people are doing research and at the end of the day it's not a unified effort but what if I told you that you can change this a little bit and create a custom GPT that brings all that information together into one place well that's what we're going to be doing today we're going to be creating a custom GPT tailored for a sales team at a recruiting agency and essentially this GPT is going to be able to take information from the prospecting clients that they're looking at and turn it into a sales script or create questions for those sales scripts uh aside from that that custom GPT is going to be trained on the information

0:44 of these recruiting agencies uh and I'm going to just take out the name for the sake of privacy over here but you're going to be able to see the entire process how to do it and how to actually set this up for yourself as well all right so in order to make this happen let's jump into the computer here and open chat GPT and once you open your chat GPT you going to look on your left hand corner and you're going to click explore gpts this is the GPT store where you can see all the custom gpts created by different companies and individuals like you can see here you have Can Academy we have Whimsical uh canvas also here and many others as well for many different purposes and you are going to want to click on create on the top right hand corner and this feature is actually only available for people who have the plus version of chat PT so I think

1:30 that's around $20 a month and once that is set up uh and you have that payment process you're going to go to this page and open up this this page over here that has the configure the create and the preview side on the rightand corner okay so to create one of these custom gpts you can do it in one of two ways you can either go into the create Tab and just have a conversation with chat GPT explain what you want it's very good at prompting and asking you what you want this custom GPT to do and I really recommend using this tool if it's the first time you're building a custom GPT or using this configure tab here I will want to use this configure tab over here just because I already have a few things set up that I'm going to bring into this page so to get us started let's start by giving this a name so I'm going to call this a spin selling

2:17 coach and I'm going to say that it's for Matt's recruiting so we have a name for our chat GPT and we're going to give it a little description this description doesn't affect any of the function fun alties for your GPT all right so just we have a brief description for whoever is seeing this GPT on the GPT store uh they have an idea of what the purpose of this GPT is we're actually not going to be posting this one on the store I'm just going to be sharing it as a link uh just because I think it's a better idea if you're creating a custom GPT like this and you want to share it internally it's just the best idea to share that link around and have your sales team have access to it instead of just promoting it on the GPT store after all you're going to be giving information that exclusive to your business so for the instruction part I'm actually going to
