A day in the life of a Copywriter: what changes with these prompts.

Priya, a freelance copywriter for small food and drink brands.

Priya starts Thursday with a brief from a coffee roaster in Portland. Usually she would spend two hours scribbling audience notes. Instead she opens ChatGPT and pastes the brief with a prompt from the Audience And Brief Basics lesson. In ten minutes she has three audience angles to choose from.

Next, headlines. She asks Claude for ten subject lines for a three-email welcome series, using the Headlines And Hooks lesson. She keeps four, rewrites two in her own voice, and notes the rest for later.

After lunch, she drafts the email sequence with Gemini, following the Email Campaign Writing prompts. She adds a story about the roaster's first market stall, something the AI could not know. Then she edits the whole sequence with the Editing And Polishing lesson.

She finishes by 3pm instead of 6pm. She uses the extra time to walk her dog along the river and read a chapter of a novel before picking up her daughter from school.
