Meet your AI Employee · GoHighLevel AI Employee: Voice & Conversation AI

An AI Employee is GoHighLevel's name for the AI agents that live inside a sub-account and talk to your leads on your behalf.
It comes in two forms. Voice AI answers inbound calls and places outbound calls from your LC Phone number. Conversation AI replies in writing on SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, email and website live chat.
Both can answer questions from a knowledge base, qualify leads with your questions, and book appointments into your calendars. Both are configured under AI Agents in the left menu.
Billing is separate from your GoHighLevel plan. Pay per use (priced per call minute or per token, depending on the model you choose), or $97 per month per sub-account for unlimited AI usage.

Open a sub-account you can experiment in (a test sub-account is ideal).
Find AI Agents in the left menu and click through Voice AI, Conversation AI and Knowledge Base.
Check Settings → Billing to see how AI usage is currently charged.
Write down one job you want each agent to take off your plate: one call type, one message type.

Paula Before you build, know the cost. AI usage is not included in your regular GoHighLevel plan. You either pay per use, priced by the model you choose, or you pay a flat ninety-seven dollars a month per sub-account for unlimited AI.

Abby Our advice: start on pay per use. While you're building and testing, you won't use much. Switch to unlimited once your monthly bill gets close to that ninety-seven dollars.
