3 E Network Technology Group Limited (Nasdaq: MASK) CEO Dr. Tingjun Yang outlined a strategic roadmap for edge AI and robotics infrastructure on June 12, 2026, following a partnership with California-based robotics firm Aladdin Alaris AI. The company plans to build a scalable computing platform to support embodied AI systems, targeting the smart healthcare and eldercare markets as an initial commercial entry point.

Edge computing and silicon innovation

Dr. Yang said AI models are migrating to the edge, requiring robots to master spatial intelligence and physical interaction. He said, "Robotics technology is gradually moving beyond traditional 'Rule-based Programming,' pivoting toward policy generation that integrates Reinforcement Learning and 'Sim-to-Real' transfer."

Overcoming current hardware limits requires upgrading underlying silicon. Dr. Yang said traditional merchant silicon struggles with multi-modal sensor fusion, such as concurrent inputs from high-framerate vision and spatial radar. He added that "traditional merchant silicon may face limitations related to the 'Von Neumann bottleneck' and the 'Memory Wall,' which may contribute to higher power consumption and non-deterministic latency."

Hardware and software co-design

To address these bottlenecks, the company is advancing heterogeneous computing architectures and Edge AI SoCs optimized for multi-modal workloads. Dr. Yang said hardware-software co-design is necessary to translate edge model commands into fine-grained motion control.
