Acrisure builds AI platform on Palantir to unify insurance workflows
Acrisure, a global financial technology and insurance company, has launched Auris AI, an applied AI platform built on Palantir's technology. The system pulls client, carrier, contract, and operational data into a single engine so insurance professionals can spot opportunities, coordinate tasks, and serve clients with tighter access controls.
The platform targets a persistent problem in insurance: disconnected systems and fragmented data spread across multiple companies. Auris AI organizes operational data, business logic, and workflows into a shared environment that includes client intelligence, growth opportunities, risk insights, placement activity, service needs, and carrier relationships.
Built for production, not demos
The development came from Acrisure's technology team working alongside business operators. That pairing matters because the platform reflects how insurance work actually happens - across teams, carriers, and systems that rarely talk to each other.
"We are not announcing another vibe-coded AI tool," said Benjamin Funk, Chief Technology Officer and Chief AI Officer at Acrisure. "We are unveiling a platform built against the actual complexity of how insurance is delivered today: fragmented data, disconnected workflows, multi-company collaboration, and human expertise."
The launch is part of a cross-industry showcase of organizations using Palantir's Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) to solve operational problems. For insurance professionals tracking how AI for Insurance is moving from pilot projects into daily operations, the Acrisure deployment offers a concrete reference point.
What the platform does
Auris AI brings several workflow categories into one coordinated view. Teams can see client intelligence alongside growth opportunities, monitor risk insights, track placement activity, and manage carrier relationships without switching between systems. The goal is AI-assisted workflows that surface insights and coordinate tasks, not replace human judgment.
"Auris AI enables Acrisure to bring AI into the core of its operations while maintaining control over the data, workflows and decisions that power its business," said Ryan Taylor, Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Legal Officer at Palantir.
The platform's design emphasizes access controls and data governance. Acrisure said it plans to continue exploring responsible AI deployment as it expands Auris AI's capabilities and deepens collaboration with clients and carriers. The broader shift toward AI Agents & Automation in insurance operations is accelerating, and Acrisure's approach shows how firms can pair automation with governance.
Why this matters for insurance professionals
If you work in insurance, Auris AI signals where the operational stack is heading: fewer manual handoffs between systems, more consolidated client and carrier data, and AI that assists with coordination rather than replacing underwriters or brokers. The platform's emphasis on access controls also means firms can adopt these tools without losing visibility into who sees what data and why. Expect competitors and partners to follow suit as AI moves from back-office experiments into core placement and service workflows.
