Addigy has released the Addigy Intelligence Suite, embedding AI-driven automation, reporting, and security controls directly into its Apple device management platform. The move targets MSPs who are managing a fast-growing number of Apple endpoints with teams that have traditionally focused on Windows environments.
"Most MSPs had 10 percent or less Apple devices, and it has been growing feverishly," said Jason Dettbarn, Addigy's founder and CTO. That growth creates a practical problem: Apple management often demands different expertise and workflows. The new suite aims to close that gap with tools that write and audit scripts, generate reports, and allow AI agents to interact with the device-management control plane.
How the AI suite works
The suite's AI Script Assist can write and audit scripts and recommend actions. Addigy's Model Context Protocol (MCP) capability lets AI agents interact with the platform's control plane. Dettbarn emphasized that automation does not mean handing full control to AI. "Customers can first engage with it with a human in the loop, with observability, and then sort of crank up what they do," he said.
Customer data stays within Addigy's own infrastructure rather than being sent to external frontier AI models. Administrators can set policies and permissions that govern exactly what the AI and connected agents are allowed to do. "Being able to have it clean up or improve the script with a click feels a little like cheating."
Security and compliance automation
Dettbarn pointed to the growing challenge of vulnerabilities that lack an immediate software patch. Instead of waiting for a vendor fix, MSPs need tools that can identify risks and take proactive action across fleets of devices. "Organizations need to be able to proactively secure these devices even before patches are even available, and they have to act quickly with patches as well," he said.
The suite also addresses shadow AI. Addigy's AI compliance benchmarks let MSPs identify permitted and prohibited AI tools, while DNS controls can block traffic to unauthorized services. For MSPs managing multiple customer environments, these controls add a layer of governance that was previously manual and error-prone.

Dettbarn sees the broader opportunity in using AI and automation to manage Apple environments in a way that resembles how MSPs manage Windows environments. The labor math is straightforward. "They're going to have to do more with less people," he said. "They have to thread the needle with, 'Trust us as an MSP that we're using the right AI tools to do this.'"
