Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX) shared a product development roadmap targeting six hardware releases and nine software initiatives across its RAD security and productivity ecosystem. The first software announcements are expected to begin in August 2026, with the heaviest combined software and hardware activity projected for September through November. Management cautioned that the timeline represents internal targets, not firm delivery commitments.
The hardware and software pipeline
The hardware portion of the roadmap includes six products-both new devices and upgrades to existing RAD platforms-but AITX is withholding specifics for competitive reasons. Software efforts fall into seven categories, several of which contain more than one initiative:
- A SARA™ related release
- A software integration
- A project to enable selected third-party hardware within the RAD ecosystem
- A new application
- An upgrade to an existing software application
- Additional software upgrades
- Further advancements involving SARA analytics and capabilities
CEO, CTO and founder Steve Reinharz said every initiative on the list is under active development, some for months or longer. "Based on the development work already completed and the progress reported to me by our development teams, I believe the roadmap reflects a sound direction for the Company," he said.
Target timeline for releases
The company's current plan kicks off an announcement and software-release cadence in August 2026. September and October are expected to be the busiest combined software window, with hardware releases also beginning during that stretch. November is targeted as the most active month for hardware, while software activity continues through December. One additional hardware release is penciled in for February 2027.
Development and release windows overlap, and individual initiatives may shift between months as testing continues. AITX intends to disclose more detail on each project once scope, timing, and public positioning are finalized.
Reinharz reinforced the conditional nature of the roadmap. "That confidence should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every project will be released in its currently targeted month," he said. "Product development, testing, manufacturing, supply-chain considerations, technical integration, partner coordination, financing and changing business priorities can all affect scope and timing. These are management's current targets, not promises."

Accompanying the press release, a weekly video update used a clearly disclosed AI-generated likeness and voice of Reinharz to present the same information. Reinharz noted that recording in person takes roughly two hours. Using the AI-generated version let the team stay focused on product work.
