Auvik Launches AI Agents for Network Operations
Auvik announced Auvik Aurora, AI agents designed to help IT operations teams manage and troubleshoot networks with less manual work. The agents arrive ready to use, requiring no complex setup or tuning.
The agents draw from 15 years of network management data collected across Auvik's customer base. This dataset grounds recommendations in real-world IT environments rather than generic language model responses.
What the agents do
Auvik Aurora performs three core functions for operations teams:
- Prioritizes alerts by impact, surfacing urgent issues first and reducing noise
- Provides context-aware troubleshooting guidance tied to specific devices and network topology
- Flags end-of-life and end-of-support devices before they cause outages or security gaps
The agents integrate directly into existing Auvik workflows. Teams can create alerts using natural language and receive command syntax assistance for vendor-specific equipment.
Why this matters for operations
Operations teams face growing pressure: more devices to manage, more alerts to process, more vulnerabilities to patch. Only 44% of IT organizations fully trust their network data quality to support AI-driven management, according to analyst firm EMA.
Auvik Aurora addresses this by operating on verified network data-topology, device relationships, performance metrics, and security status-that Auvik already collects. The agents can recommend specific actions rather than generic advice.
Teams gain faster ticket resolution, fewer escalations, and earlier warning of infrastructure problems. MSPs can surface these capabilities to customers without building internal AI expertise.
Auvik manages one million network devices and three million SaaS applications across 100,000 networks. The company released Aurora as the first in a series of AI-powered features planned for its platform.
