Bento Box Co-Founder Scott Greenberg Joins AI Story Startup Othelia to Lead Launch of Storykeeper Tool

Scott Greenberg, former Bento Box CEO, joins Othelia as executive chairman to guide strategy and partnerships. Othelia’s AI platform helps creators manage complex narratives with full data control.

Scott Greenberg Joins Othelia as Co-Founder and Executive Chairman

Scott Greenberg, co-founder and former CEO of Bento Box Entertainment, has taken on a new role as executive chairman and co-founder at Othelia Technologies. Othelia is an AI-native story design and management platform based in Australia, focused on helping creators and studios manage complex narratives.

In this position, Greenberg will act as a strategic investor and advisor, steering corporate strategy and building industry partnerships. His experience leading Bento Box, a Fox-owned animation studio, brings valuable insight as Othelia advances its growth plans. Greenberg departed Bento Box in 2023.

Othelia’s Growth and Leadership Expansion

Othelia recently established a new headquarters in Los Angeles, headed by Alexandra Hooven, who joined as co-founder and Chief Growth Officer. Hooven’s responsibilities include leading product development and expanding Othelia’s reach within the creative community both in the U.S. and internationally. She previously worked at Fox as the director of product strategy, focusing on emerging technology products.

About Othelia and the Storykeeper Tool

Founded by Sydney-based CEO Kate Armstrong-Smith and CTO Joe Couch, Othelia specializes in AI tools for narrative storytelling. Their flagship product, Storykeeper, is scheduled for a beta release this fall. The tool is built to assist writers, creators, and studios in structuring and managing intricate narrative worlds.

Storykeeper tracks narrative connections, contradictions, and revisions across multiple drafts. Unlike many AI platforms, Othelia keeps creative data fully owned and controlled by the user, without repurposing it to train generative models.

Strategic Vision and Industry Impact

Scott Greenberg commented on his new role: “Throughout my career, I’ve seen first-hand how the right systems and technology can transform efficient production without compromising creativity. Othelia gives creatives and studios the infrastructure to nurture, scale and protect the asset that audiences care about most – stories.”

Armstrong-Smith and Couch added: “We’re excited about how Storykeeper can help the industry continue to astound audiences with their vision. With Scott’s sharp business acumen and Alex’s expertise, we’re thrilled about Othelia’s future as technology and entertainment further converge, spurring even more collaboration and creativity.”

What This Means for Executives and Strategy Leaders

  • Othelia’s approach demonstrates a clear focus on empowering creative teams through practical AI tools that improve narrative management without compromising control over intellectual property.
  • Greenberg’s involvement signals a strategic push to bridge technology with storytelling industries, providing executives with new opportunities to streamline production workflows.
  • The company’s expansion to Los Angeles and leadership hires reflect a commitment to scaling their platform globally, offering potential partners and investors a foothold in emerging AI-driven creative solutions.

For executives overseeing strategic growth and innovation in media and entertainment, Othelia presents an example of integrating AI thoughtfully to support creative processes while maintaining business control and data ownership.
