BluSky AI Adds Banking Veteran to Board
BluSky AI Inc., which builds modular data centers for AI workloads, appointed Theodore "Ted" Botts to its board of directors on May 27. Botts brings four decades of investment banking and corporate finance experience from roles at Chemical Bank, Goldman Sachs, and UBS Securities.
Botts currently runs Kensington Gate Capital, a corporate finance advisory firm, and chairs the audit committee at Remark Holdings, a publicly traded AI solutions company. His background spans mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and privatizations across North America, Europe, and Latin America.
What Botts Will Oversee
At BluSky AI, Botts will focus on technology strategy, operational risk, capital planning, and infrastructure development. The company is expanding its deployment of modular AI factories called SkyMods and is currently raising capital through a Regulation A offering.
CEO Trent D'Ambrosio said Botts's experience "complements our focus on disciplined growth as we accelerate deployment of our SkyMod AI Factory sites and advance our national expansion strategy."
Background
Botts holds a bachelor's degree in Russian with a minor in economics from Williams College and an MBA in international finance from New York University. Beyond finance, he has worked with nonprofit organizations focused on governance.
