Bahrain-based online retailer Brands Seekers launched an AI personal stylist that has doubled its average order value and is now the main reason consumers visit the site, founder Ali AlShuwaikh said. The tool, combined with a recent translation of the site into 55 languages, is reshaping both sales performance and traffic sources for the company.

AI stylist lifts conversion by bundling complete outfits

The Luxury Fashion Concierge AI Personal Stylist lets shoppers choose whether they want a complete look or a specific piece, then narrow by collection, occasion, budget, and garment focus. The tool returns product suggestions only from Brands Seekers' own catalog. AlShuwaikh said that limitation is intentional because customers "like to find the product from one place. It's way easier."

That convenience has translated directly into sales metrics. "Instead of having a cross-selling item, for instance, with any item that you're purchasing, you do have an option to just shop for complete outfits," AlShuwaikh said. "I do see a lot of the order values are way, way higher right now than the way they were." He confirmed the company's average order value has doubled since the stylist went live, though he did not disclose the exact figure.

For sales teams, the stylist acts as a persistent, automated upsell channel. The jump in order values and conversion shows how AI for sales can restructure the purchase path around higher-ticket bundles rather than single-item browsing. The tool's notes on each recommendation also add a layer of personalization that mimics a human concierge.

Multilingual site opens a new traffic channel from AI platforms

Around the same time, Brands Seekers translated its site into 55 languages, moving beyond its original English-only presence. AlShuwaikh called the translation push a "major" reason web traffic grew over the summer, because it unlocked search visibility in markets including India, China, Japan, Mexico, and South America. The move also triggered a surge in visitors from AI-powered discovery platforms.

Since launching the multilingual site several weeks ago, Brands Seekers has drawn about 19,000 visitors from AI sources, which now account for roughly 20% of total traffic. AlShuwaikh attributed the increase to AI agents indexing the product catalog in each language. However, he cautioned that conversion from this segment remains "way lower than anyone else" because users on platforms like ChatGPT often arrive for size charts, brand comparisons, or blog content rather than immediate purchases.

"It's completely different than getting a conversion out of, let's say, Google Shopping or Google search or anything like that," AlShuwaikh said. "So it's just the nature of the way people use ChatGPT, for instance." He expects the metrics to improve as the agents finish indexing the full catalog in the coming months.

Why this matters for sales professionals

The Brands Seekers case shows that an AI stylist can directly lift average order value and conversion by shifting the shopping experience from single items to full outfits. For sales leaders, the lesson is not about the technology itself but about the bundling strategy it enables - the tool becomes a persistent recommendation engine that raises basket size without additional human selling cost. Meanwhile, the translation effort demonstrates that expanding site languages can open a new, lower-cost traffic source from AI platforms, even if the sales cycle from that channel takes longer to mature.
