Conduit launches AI agents for hotel operations beyond guest messaging

Conduit, an AI platform for hospitality operations, has expanded beyond automated guest messaging to offer pre-built agents that handle sales, cleaning coordination, and owner communication. The platform now lets hotels, serviced apartments, and short-term rental operators deploy ready-to-use AI workflows without building custom systems internally.

The agents connect to property management systems, booking platforms, cleaning software, and vendor networks. They can process refunds, adjust reservations, dispatch contractors, and escalate issues to staff when human judgment is needed.

What the agents do

Four core agents make up the platform:

  • Guest Agent: Handles inquiries across the guest journey-early check-in requests, maintenance issues, reservation changes, refunds, and escalations.
  • Sales Agent: Converts inquiries into bookings by answering questions, applying pricing rules, and following up automatically.
  • Cleaning Agent: Coordinates turnovers, reroutes schedules, notifies guests of delays, and manages contractor operations.
  • Owner Agent: Responds to owner questions about payouts, reservations, and cancellations using financial and booking data.

Configuration without coding

Hotel teams configure and improve agents using natural language rather than code. Staff don't need prompting skills to work with the system.

Operators can connect agents to third-party systems and knowledge bases, feeding them more context to improve performance. The interface is designed so that if someone can explain a task to another person, they can teach it to an agent.

Scale and adoption

Conduit, founded in 2024 and backed by Y Combinator, has processed more than 50 million guest and operational messages across 100,000 properties globally, plus 10 million voice interactions. Customers include Pass the Keys, Alloggio, Roofstock, Casago, and Olala.

Cole Rubin, CEO and co-founder, said the platform solves a core problem: "Hospitality operators don't want to become AI plumbers. They want systems that already understand how their operations work."
