Cuentas, Inc. (OTCQB: CUEN) appointed Eric Kilinsky as interim chief financial officer and named Ofek Haim Suchard as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, effective June 8, 2026. The executive restructuring signals the Miami Beach-based company's push to prioritize artificial intelligence integration across its mobile communications and digital service platforms.
Leadership transition
Kilinsky takes over the principal financial and accounting officer roles from Suchard, who now steps into the newly created chief artificial intelligence officer position. Kilinsky brings more than a decade of experience supporting financial reporting and compliance for public companies. He will oversee SEC filings, audit coordination, budgeting, and capitalization table management.
Suchard holds a mechanical engineering degree and has a background in software development. In his new role, he will direct the company's technology strategy and product development. His mandate includes preparing the organization for artificial general intelligence and embedding advanced AI capabilities across Cuentas' existing mobile communications, connectivity and digital services.
Executive outlook
CEO Shalom Arik Maimon addressed the transition in a public statement. "Eric's deep experience in public company financial reporting and accounting will strengthen our finance function as we execute our strategy," Maimon said. "At the same time, Ofek's transition to Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer positions him to focus on the technology and product innovation that are central to the future of our platform."
Why this matters for executives and strategy
Appointing a dedicated chief artificial intelligence officer to oversee artificial general intelligence readiness marks a shift from experimental pilots to core corporate strategy. This structure separates financial compliance from technology development, ensuring both functions receive specialized leadership.
