Docusign brings agreement workflows into Salesforce agents and Slack

Docusign is embedding contract generation, review, renewal tracking and approvals directly into Salesforce, Agentforce and Slack. The move places agreement workflows inside the tools sales and legal teams already use, rather than requiring a separate application.

The integration can reduce handoffs between sales and legal departments by surfacing contract actions within existing conversations and records. However, organizations need firm authority limits for any agents acting on contractual data, particularly when those agents can initiate approvals or access sensitive terms.
