Ebix Risk Launches AI Platform to Automate Certificate of Insurance Compliance

Ebix Risk released Ebix COI on May 4, a certificate of insurance management platform that connects contract requirements to coverage validation and deficiency resolution in a single workflow.

The platform addresses a persistent operational problem: most organizations collect and digitize certificates but validate them against generic templates rather than actual contract terms. Deficiencies get flagged but often don't get resolved, leaving compliance gaps in place.

Ebix COI closes that loop by reading vendor contracts, extracting requirements, and validating certificates against the actual terms. An AI agent then identifies deficiencies, initiates vendor outreach, and tracks resolution to completion.

What the Platform Does

Contract Intelligence reads vendor agreements and validates certificates against actual contract language rather than standard checklists.

Policy Intelligence surfaces deeper insights from policy language and endorsements that affect coverage decisions.
