Fairmarkit Deploys AI Agents to Handle Procurement at Any Scale

Fairmarkit announced Total Agentic Sourcing, a platform designed to handle both routine purchases and major contracts through AI agents operating in the same environment. The system manages everything from $500 tactical buys to $500 million strategic deals without requiring different tools or workflows.

The backbone is KIT, an intelligent assistant built on a network of specialized agents. The platform integrates directly with SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, Oracle, and ServiceNow, eliminating manual data transfers between systems.

How It Works Across Sourcing Tasks

KIT adapts to each organization's categories, policies, and buying rules. For routine purchases, it runs the entire sourcing process without human involvement. For complex deals, it accelerates the work while allowing category managers to decide on risk, relationships, and trade-offs.

The platform includes native ERP and procurement-to-pay integrations. It picks up purchase requisitions, executes the sourcing event, and writes results back into the system with no manual handoffs.

Five specialized agents handle distinct tasks:

  • Intake Agent: Captures requirements through guided dialogue, ensuring requesters submit complete, actionable requests on the first attempt.
  • RFx Agent: Constructs the appropriate event type-tactical, strategic, complex, or auction. It bundles similar requests and embeds compliance requirements into the event structure.
  • Supplier Agent: Matches buyers with suppliers from a network of 2.7 million-plus vendors using category fit and response probability scoring. It tracks diversity certifications including MWBE, WOSB, SDVOSB, and LGBTBE in real time. It also monitors contract expirations and triggers competitive sourcing before auto-renewals occur.
  • Evaluation Agent: Provides role-based visibility and scenario modeling by cost or supplier mix. It calculates total cost of ownership in real time and offers a chat interface for interactive bid analysis.
  • Auto Compliance: Applies compliance rules automatically by category, region, and spend threshold. The system maintains a full audit trail and offers explainable AI reasoning. It holds SOC 2 Type 2 certification and retains zero LLM data.

What This Means for Procurement Leaders

Kevin Frechette, co-founder and CEO of Fairmarkit, said the platform addresses a gap in enterprise AI. "Enterprise AI is long on promises, short on proof," he said. "Procurement is the exception. The CPOs who have deployed agentic sourcing at scale have the most credible AI story in the building - and now, the P&L to prove it."

For executives overseeing procurement operations, the ability to run both tail and strategic spend through a single AI agents and automation system reduces operational complexity and creates a clearer measure of AI's business impact. The approach lets procurement teams focus on high-value decisions rather than process execution.
