Faraday Future supports AIxC pivot to robot-sharing and rental after RoboShare completes first paid order

Faraday Future (NASDAQ: FFAI) said it supports AIxC Holdings' decision to drop its digital asset treasury strategy and focus entirely on physical AI and robot rentals, a move that pushes the companies' robot-sharing platform RoboShare into commercial operations. The announcement comes days after RoboShare completed its first paid order on August 15, with an initial fleet of more than 80 robots onboarded and available for deployment.

FF is AIxC's majority and controlling shareholder. The two companies said they will build a closer relationship in which FF provides strategic, product, technology, and capital-market support while RoboShare feeds operational data and revenue back into FF's robotics ecosystem.

RoboShare's first paid order

RoboShare's first commercial project will deploy six robots at an event in Malibu, California: one FF Master humanoid robot, four Aegis Pro quadruped robots, and one compact Navi quadruped robot. The platform will also provide customized performance production and content design services for the project.

The first customer is DU$TY, a Los Angeles-based rapper and content creator with more than 7.1 million Instagram followers. The parties may explore additional work across music, comedy, content production, and live events, which could create recurring demand for robot deployments.

RoboShare describes its model as an "Uber + Turo" for robotics: a sharing network that gives robots a second life cycle and shared value, transforming them from one-time hardware sales into productive assets that generate ongoing revenue. The platform has launched its "Ten-City Strategy," starting in Los Angeles.

What FF provides

FF said it will support AIxC through its "Four-Core Full-Stack AI" ecosystem, which spans the EAI Brain, EAI Device, Industry Productivity Solutions, the Developer Platform, and EAI Data Factory. The six product series in FF's robot portfolio cover humanoid robots, mobile manipulators, and quadruped robots, which can support RoboShare's expansion into education, industry, security and inspection, and entertainment.

From a technology standpoint, FF will back RoboShare with its self-developed EAI Brain, VLA + World Model, Skills and Agent system, and open developer platform. FF's product portfolio may also help RoboShare expand its robot supply, lower adoption barriers, and explore revenue models including rentals, services, rent-to-own programs, and customized operations.

What RoboShare gives back

Robot-sharing rentals and scenario-based experiences can convert users into purchasers, creating new sales opportunities for FF's robots and ecosystem revenue from software, Skills, and industry services. As utilization and recurring service revenue increase, each robot's lifetime value rises, which could strengthen FF's recurring revenue and operating cash flow.

With customer consent and compliance with privacy and data-rights requirements, real-world operating data from RoboShare can feed back into the EAI Data Factory and EAI Brain training, accelerating the cycle of device deployment, scenario operations, data accumulation, product evolution, and more deployments. Growth in AIxC's business could also increase the value of FF's equity stake.

RoboShare's next phase focuses on validating recurring customer demand, robot utilization, and its operating model. It plans to expand product categories, customers, and ecosystem partnerships while building a replicable operating model in Los Angeles for the phased rollout of its Ten-City Strategy.

The first order pairs multiple robot form factors with custom content production, which means deployment work now includes scenario design, logistics, and service delivery - not just hardware setup. If RoboShare's utilization data holds up, expect to see rental and service models spread to other cities, which will create demand for people who can run multi-robot operations at events, in security, and in industrial settings.
