Valencia startup Fresh People raises €2.6 million for AI leadership platform

Fresh People, a Valencia-based company that builds AI tools for leadership and team management, has closed a €2.6 million funding round to scale Booster, its AI-powered leadership system, and expand into international markets including Mexico.

Inveready led the round, with participation from Archipiélago Next, Successful Fund, and several individual investors including Paloma Tejada, a former BBVA executive. The company also attracted backing from entrepreneurs in Spain and Mexico.

What Booster does

Booster functions as a daily copilot for managers. It integrates into the tools managers already use to help with goal-setting, feedback, decision-making, and team coordination without adding extra tasks to their workload.

The platform pulls from leadership methodologies and applies AI to close the gap between corporate strategy and what actually happens in teams. Fresh People says it addresses leadership development, performance management, team effectiveness, and cultural change.

Over 2,000 managers currently use Booster. The company counts Acciona, LaLiga, and Kave Home among its clients.

Results so far

Fresh People reports that integrating AI into business goal-setting increased the achievement of individual and team goals by more than 45% and reduced talent attrition by 23% among its customers.

CEO José J. Burgos said the platform removes friction from people management. "Managers have to handle more teams and meet more ambitious goals with less room to manoeuvre. Booster is built to remove that friction, so that technology stops being a mere data repository and becomes a proactive copilot," he said.

Next steps

Fresh People is transitioning its operations to a new digital ecosystem at booster.team. The company, founded in 2020, will use the funding to accelerate Booster's rollout and prepare for expansion beyond Spain.

Aniol Brosa, partner at Inveready, said the investment reflects confidence in addressing a real gap. "Many large companies struggle to close the distance between corporate strategy and talent execution. Fresh People combines experience in team management with AI to solve that problem," he said.
