German Startup Parloa Raises €105 Million to Innovate Customer Service with Agentic AI

Berlin-based Parloa, a leader in Agentic AI for customer experience, announced it has secured €105 million in Series C funding. This round pushes Parloa’s valuation to €881 million. Leading investors include Durable Capital Partners, Altimeter Capital, and General Catalyst, with participation from EQT Ventures, RPT Capital, Senovo, and Mosaic Ventures.

Parloa’s CEO and Co-founder, Malte Kosub, highlighted the shift in how people interact with businesses. He said, “Our customers are building 1:1 relationships between AI agents and their customers with every interaction to deepen loyalty, create new revenue streams, and deliver highly personalised experiences.” This funding will speed up the growth of Parloa’s AI Agent Management Platform (AMP) for enterprises.

About Parloa and Its Technology

Founded in 2018 by Malte Kosub and Stefan Ostwald in Berlin, Parloa focuses on transforming customer service through Agentic AI. Since its Series B raise of €58 million a year ago, Parloa launched AMP, a platform purpose-built for enterprise contact centres. The company has reportedly quadrupled its revenue since then.

AMP allows enterprises to build, test, and deploy millions of AI agents. These agents conduct natural, personalized conversations with customers, improving engagement and support efficiency.

Investor Confidence

Henry Ellenbogen, Managing Partner at Durable Capital Partners, expressed confidence in Parloa’s leadership and potential. “We chose to invest because Parloa is uniquely positioned to lead the next phase of customer experience innovation and meet the growing demand worldwide,” he said.

According to Gartner, by 2029, agentic AI will autonomously resolve 80% of common customer service issues without human help. Research from Menlo Ventures shows enterprise spending on generative AI rose 8x in 2024, with nearly a third going to customer support solutions.

Apoorv Agrawal, Partner at Altimeter Capital, added, “Parloa isn’t just streamlining customer service — it’s improving the whole customer experience. They help brands offer faster, smarter, and more human interactions at scale.”

How Parloa’s AI Agents Work

Parloa’s AI agents are designed to be highly personalized and dynamic. Before going live, they undergo simulation testing, data isolation, content filtering, and continuous monitoring. These agents learn and adapt through natural conversations, offering practical value by improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Jeannette zu Fürstenberg from General Catalyst said, “Parloa’s vision and execution make them a standout in applied AI. This investment reflects our belief in Europe’s ability to produce globally leading AI companies.”
