Go.Compare launches insurance quotes app on ChatGPT
Go.Compare has launched an app on ChatGPT that lets users compare car, van and home insurance policies without leaving the chat interface. Users can search for quotes, adjust policy details, and run new comparisons directly within ChatGPT by accessing the Apps section and connecting the Go.Compare service to their chat.
The move reflects the price comparison firm's shift toward AI-driven customer experiences. Go.Compare built its reputation on comparing policy features alongside price, not just cost alone, and the company said that approach continues with its AI tools.
How it works
Customers open the ChatGPT Apps section, search for "GoCompare," and connect the app to an active chat. From there they can search for policies, compare options, and adjust details to re-run quotes without switching platforms.
Go.Compare CEO Lee Griffin said the app cuts quote turnaround time significantly. "By launching a ChatGPT app, we are meeting customers where they are," he said, adding that the firm would not sacrifice policy cover details for speed.
