HUB International Creates AI Sales Role as It Deploys Claude Across Sales Teams
HUB International appointed Faizal Mitha as Vice President of AI Sales Innovation, effective July 1, 2026, to scale AI-powered sales practices across its five business divisions in the U.S. and Canada.
Mitha will oversee AI for Sales adoption across Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Private Client, Retirement & Private Wealth, and Employee Benefits. His mandate includes developing training programs, resources, and measurement frameworks to track how AI adoption affects growth.
The appointment builds on HUB's rollout of Anthropic's Claude platform to employees starting in the fourth quarter of 2025. The brokerage views the platform as a tool to help producers strengthen client relationships through AI-enabled insights.
What the Role Involves
Mitha will work with HUB's AI and Automation Team and business leaders across North America. He'll focus on helping producers anticipate risk, respond faster, and bring sharper insights to client conversations.

Mitha's Background
Mitha brings more than 20 years of experience in innovation, employee benefits, and digital transformation. He most recently served as Chief Sales & Innovation Officer for HUB Canada Employee Benefits and Retirement, where he launched HUB Canada Persona Analysis and led initiatives integrating insurtech capabilities into the business.
Before joining HUB through an acquisition in 2018, Mitha co-founded an insurtech company that used AI and data analytics to support insurance decision-making and benefits benchmarking. He began his insurance career as an underwriter with two Canadian insurers.
