Dubai, UAE – Kerno, a leading UAE-based manufacturer of enterprise IT infrastructure, has announced the launch of its first ready-for-production enterprise server units backed by an investment of AED 100 million. This milestone was revealed last week during Make it in the Emirates, the UAE’s main industrial platform hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT).

The announcement was made in the presence of Her Excellency Salama Al Awadhi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Industrial Development Sector at MoIAT. Kerno also demonstrated live electronics manufacturing equipment at the event, giving visitors a chance to see real-time server production happening within the UAE.

Live Production Demonstration Highlights Local Manufacturing Capabilities

Gene Ostrovskiy, co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer at Kerno, stated, “At Make it in the Emirates, we demonstrated the future of technology manufacturing in the UAE. Our live production demonstration proved that the region can produce the same quality of IT infrastructure as any global manufacturing hub.”

The event showcased Kerno’s flagship product lines, OKAM and UQLEAD, marking a significant step toward building world-class IT manufacturing capabilities within the country.

Product Lines Supporting Diverse Enterprise Needs

  • OKAM Servers: Enterprise-grade servers built with the latest Intel and AMD chipsets. These servers are designed to meet a wide range of business requirements, from cloud service operations to advanced computing applications.
  • UQLEAD Servers: Focused on high-performance computing and AI workloads. These systems are optimized for training and inference of AI models, addressing the demands of AI-driven applications.
