Legal AI company Eve launched EveOS on June 11, an AI-native operating platform designed to manage operations across the full case lifecycle for plaintiff law firms. This expansion addresses a critical workflow bottleneck: existing case management software cannot reliably track the work and decisions made by autonomous AI agents alongside human attorneys.

The structural gap in current case management

Five months after introducing its initial AI workforce, CEO Jay Madheswaran said the underlying platforms most firms use were not built for simultaneous human and AI work. As agents handle more tasks, data across case management, accounting, and communication tools drifts out of sync. Madheswaran noted that traditional systems capture final documents but miss the decision-making process, which undermines agent accuracy and a firm's ability to learn from its history. "They don't keep track of what was offered and why you picked what you picked, which is really important when you're trying to continuously train your firm to become better," he said.

Four new products in the EveOS suite

EveOS introduces four new products, with the centerpiece being Eve Atlas. Currently in beta, Atlas is a self-updating case data layer that pulls information from case management software, emails, court filings, medical records, and client communications. This maintains a live operational view without requiring manual data entry. If the system is uncertain about the source of truth for a piece of information, it flags the issue for human review rather than guessing.

The release also includes three other tools. Eve Analyst, now in beta, allows leadership to ask operational questions in plain language about settlement history or revenue pacing, generating written answers and live dashboards from the unified data layer. Eve Communication Agents handle outbound tasks like routine client follow-ups and requests for medical records, automatically filling information gaps when discovery requests trigger. Finally, Eve Research gives agents native access to a live database of U.S. court opinions, surfacing full rulings and linking citations back to source passages.

Automated workflows and system integration

The update enhances two existing features to close operational loops. Eve Auditor now reviews active matters nightly to surface missing documentation or treatment gaps, feeding those findings directly into EveOS agents to automatically draft demands or motions for attorney review. Eve Intake, an agent named Jenny, now sends engagement letters for signature before a 24/7 inbound call ends.

Madheswaran described Eve's relationship with existing case management software as collaborative. The platform is designed to run a firm's operations across the full case lifecycle, highlighting the growing industry demand for AI for Operations. Eve integrates with these systems and pulls data into its own platform via read-only APIs and MCP connectors. However, he acknowledged that as agents take on more data-tracking work, the role of traditional case management software will have to evolve.

Eve currently serves more than 1,400 plaintiff law firms with over 200,000 active matters on the platform. The company raised $103 million in Series B funding last year at a valuation above $1 billion.

Why this matters for operations professionals

Operations leaders must prepare for software that actively executes tasks rather than just recording them. When AI agents begin drafting motions and conducting client calls, the primary operational challenge shifts from data entry to quality control and system oversight. Firms adopting these tools will need to establish clear protocols for human review, data verification, and continuous agent training to prevent workflow drift.
