Two AI Startups Win ISG Pitch Competitions for Workflow and Sales Tools

Linc AI and ASPR AI won audience votes at Information Services Group startup challenges held in Boston and Dallas this spring, signaling where enterprise buyers see immediate value in AI tools.

At the ISG AI Impact Summit in Boston on June 2-3, Linc AI's interview tool took first place. The platform converts screen recordings, video, and meeting transcripts into implementation-ready documents. Linc competed against three other startups pitching solutions for secure AI systems, cloud cost optimization, and developer tools.

ASPR AI won the Dallas competition at the ISG Xperience Summit on March 30-31 with a unified agentic AI sales assistant. The company beat out competitors offering data layer tools, face analytics software, and conversational AI platforms.

What This Means for Sales Teams

ASPR AI's win points to a specific need: sales organizations are looking for AI assistants that consolidate multiple functions into a single tool. Rather than juggling separate platforms for different tasks, a unified assistant handles more of the sales workflow.

Linc AI's victory highlights another pattern. Converting unstructured data-recordings and transcripts-into actionable documents saves time on manual documentation and knowledge capture, a common pain point for teams managing client interactions.

Karen Healy, global leader of ISG Events, said the winning pitches reflect how companies need to redesign workflows around AI. "Companies have to run today's business while rebuilding the workforce model underneath it," she said.

Broader Trends from ISG's Spring Events

A third ISG event in New York in May featured two early-stage companies addressing workforce transformation: 20xwork, which offers role design for AI-augmented teams, and PAIR, which provides role-specific upskilling for AI adoption.

The pattern across all three events suggests enterprises are prioritizing solutions that address three overlapping problems: automating routine work, redesigning roles for AI collaboration, and upskilling existing staff.

For sales professionals specifically, the ASPR AI win underscores that AI for Sales is moving beyond single-point solutions toward integrated assistants. Sales teams considering new tools should evaluate whether they solve isolated problems or whether they fit into a broader workflow redesign.
