Meta launched a new enterprise AI division on Monday and hired MongoDB CEO Chirantan "CJ" Desai to run it. The move positions the company to sell its AI tools directly to corporate customers, creating a potential revenue stream from the billions it has invested in artificial intelligence.
The new unit, called Meta Enterprise Platform, will package the company's technology stack for businesses and developers.
