Meta released AI-powered prescription glasses on March 31, 2026, betting on continued demand for smart eyewear after sales nearly tripled last year. The Ray-Ban Meta Optics Styles line marks the company's first prescription offering, developed with partner EssilorLuxottica.

The new glasses support all prescription types and feature improved ergonomic design. Retail availability in the U.S. starts April 14 at $499.
