Nimbl has promoted Joseph Fylypowycz to partner, placing him in charge of the Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based consulting firm's technology delivery organization as client demand shifts from AI experimentation to implementation. Fylypowycz will lead efforts to help clients turn business and technology strategies into measurable operational results while continuing to build Nimbl's AI strategy and enterprise transformation capabilities, including agentic AI.
The move reflects a broader shift across the consulting industry, where clients increasingly expect tangible returns from AI investments rather than pilot projects. By putting technology delivery under a senior executive with experience spanning strategy, architecture and operating models, Nimbl aims to close the gap between advising on AI opportunities and deploying those systems across organizations.
Expanded leadership role
Fylypowycz joined Nimbl in 2021 and has since advised clients on complex business and technology programs, including AI strategies and blueprints for agentic AI implementations. His expanded role adds leadership around a segment of the AI market moving rapidly from conceptual planning to enterprise deployment. Agentic AI systems perform multistep tasks with greater autonomy, which creates new opportunities but also requires organizations to reconsider technology architecture, processes and operating models.
"Joe has been instrumental in deepening our relationships with some of the largest organizations in financial services and other key industries," said Nimbl Managing Partner Naresh Ramdas. "He combines the strategic perspective our clients expect with the ability to turn that strategy into action."
Background and experience
Fylypowycz brings more than two decades of management consulting and technology strategy experience to the role. Before joining Nimbl, he served as director of Future of Technology at Capgemini Invent, where he led technology strategy engagements across financial services, retail, hospitality and automotive businesses. He previously spent a decade at LiquidHub as managing director of the Strategy Studio, advising companies on enterprise architecture, application portfolio strategy and operating model transformation. Earlier in his career, he worked at IBM Global Business Services and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
That background aligns with Nimbl's approach of positioning AI within broader enterprise transformation rather than as a standalone technology initiative. Organizations adopting AI increasingly need to connect new capabilities with existing applications, data infrastructure, workflows and governance, making execution across the technology stack a significant part of the consulting opportunity. For executives and strategy professionals, the promotion signals how consulting firms are reorganizing around delivery - not just advice - as AI projects move into production.
"As AI reshapes how organizations operate and compete, there is tremendous opportunity to help our clients move from strategy to practical implementation," Fylypowycz said. "I'm excited to take on this broader role and help shape Nimbl's next chapter."
Fylypowycz holds an MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph's University and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Founded in 2021, Nimbl combines management consulting, technology strategy, human-centered design and industry expertise to help organizations align technology investments with business objectives.
Why this matters for executives and strategy leaders
The promotion reflects a practical reality for organizations investing in AI: strategy documents don't deliver results, deployment does. Executives evaluating consulting partners should look for firms that can demonstrate both strategic thinking and execution capability, particularly around agentic AI, where the gap between planning and implementation is widest. Nimbl's move to consolidate delivery leadership under a single partner suggests that consulting firms are competing less on ideas and more on their ability to make AI work inside complex enterprise environments. For professionals developing AI skills in this space, AI for Executives & Strategy offers a focused view of how leadership decisions shape AI outcomes, while AI for Management Consultants addresses the specific demands of advising clients on implementation.
