Ontic adds AI capabilities to its security operations platform

Ontic has released Ontic AI, a set of capabilities within its Connected Intelligence Platform that helps corporate and government security teams analyze information, identify patterns, and reduce time spent on routine review. The announcement came September 15, 2026, as the company showcases the technology at GSX 2026 in booth #3323. For security operations teams buried in fragmented feeds and point solutions, the tools aim to surface connections that might otherwise go unnoticed while keeping human judgment at the center of every decision.

"Ontic already connects the people, signals, incidents, investigations, and history that shape security decisions. What Ontic AI includes

The new capabilities address several friction points common in security operations. Summaries, available now, turn intelligence feeds, research, entities, incidents, and investigations into clear, shareable overviews. Trends, also available now, group related signals so analysts can recognize events and narratives as they develop rather than piecing them together manually.

Three additional features are expected by the end of 2026. Chat lets teams explore Ontic data and ask questions using plain language. Deduplication groups repetitive signals, which helps analysts focus on meaningful new developments instead of sifting through noise. Copilot surfaces relevant changes, history, and potential next steps during triage - analysts review the suggestions and retain control of every decision.

Context over isolated signals

Security information often lives scattered across feeds, files, point solutions, and internal systems. Ontic said its platform connects this data so AI-generated insights incorporate relationships involving protected executives, previous incidents, active investigations, and critical locations. Rather than evaluating individual signals in isolation, teams can apply AI with context from their broader security programs.

Ontic also emphasized that it does not use client data to train or validate models for the benefit of other organizations. Existing permissions and privacy controls within the platform continue to apply. Analysts review AI-generated outputs and make final decisions - the system is designed to support professional judgment, not replace it.
