Prime Video is adding AI-generated virtual-camera replays to selected NBA broadcasts. The feature, called Prime 360 AI Replays, uses artificial intelligence to produce new viewing angles from existing broadcast footage.

Sports media organizations are adopting AI tools to create premium viewing experiences. This approach generates camera perspectives that do not depend on placing physical cameras at the venue. The replays offer angles that were not captured by the original camera positions during the game.

The addition applies to a selection of NBA games on the platform, providing viewers with alternate looks at key plays without requiring additional on-site production equipment.
