QingSong Health and Basel Medical Group partner to develop AI healthcare and cross-border medical services in Southeast Asia

QingSong Health (2661.HK) and Basel Medical signed a June 15, 2026, pact to integrate AI into Southeast Asian clinical operations. The deal builds a health corridor between China and Singapore.

QingSong Health Corp (2661.HK) and Basel Medical Group Ltd signed a strategic cooperation agreement on June 15, 2026, to integrate artificial intelligence into clinical and administrative operations across Southeast Asia. This partnership merges QingSong's medical AI infrastructure with Basel's regional specialist care networks to build a new cross-border service corridor between China and Singapore.

Integrating AI into clinical workflows

Under the agreement, QingSong will deploy its AIcare technology stack and QSevidence medical AI agent system within Basel's existing facilities. The collaboration targets specific operational improvements, including clinical decision support and AI for Healthcare training for medical staff. Patient-facing applications will cover appointment booking, consultation support, and follow-up management.

Developing cross-border and insurance capabilities

The companies also plan to build a service corridor connecting China's medical resources with Southeast Asia's specialist networks. This cross-border development will incorporate AI for Insurance applications to manage claims and underwriting assessment. Basel Medical Group brings an established corporate client base in Singapore's construction, marine, and oil and gas sectors to this initiative.

Why this matters for healthcare professionals

Clinicians and health administrators in Southeast Asia will see direct changes to their daily workflows. The introduction of medical AI agents for patient follow-up and clinical decision support shifts administrative burdens away from care teams. Furthermore, integrating AI into insurance underwriting and cross-border patient routing requires medical staff to understand how algorithmic assessments influence care access and reimbursement.
