Salesforce Japan Targets Data Management as Key to Enterprise AI Adoption
Salesforce Japan plans to increase AI investments with a focus on data management, CEO Shinichi Koide said, citing fragmented IT systems as a major barrier for Japanese companies trying to deploy AI effectively.
"Data management is particularly important within the AI business," Koide said in an interview.
Many Japanese organizations operate disconnected IT infrastructure where data sits isolated in separate departments. This fragmentation prevents AI applications from accessing and using information efficiently, he said.
