Scality Appoints Former Inlayer CEO to Lead AI Partnerships
Scality hired Greg DiFraia as Senior Vice President of AI Alliances and Partnerships, tasking him with building the storage company's ecosystem strategy around enterprise AI workloads. DiFraia, who most recently led SaaS startup Inlayer as CEO, previously spent five years at Scality in general manager and field CTO roles.
The appointment signals Scality's push to deepen relationships with technology providers, system integrators, and cloud platforms. DiFraia will oversee go-to-market initiatives and partnership expansion across the company's cyber-resilient storage platform.
What DiFraia Brings
DiFraia has spent more than two decades in storage and data infrastructure. Before Inlayer, he held leadership positions at Turbonomic and Dell EMC, where he led global sales for the ECS software-defined storage platform and participated in product launches for Atmos and ECS.
His background spans field CTO work, ecosystem strategy, and P&L management across both large enterprises and smaller innovators.
Scality's AI Focus
The hire reflects Scality's broader investment in AI infrastructure. The company operates an AI ecosystem certification program that now covers validations across more than 20 AI and machine learning tools and frameworks.
Emilio Roman, Scality's Chief Revenue Officer, said DiFraia's experience scaling SaaS businesses and leading sales teams positions him to drive partnerships in enterprise AI and cyber-resilience initiatives.
