ScienceSoft to Present AI Claims Workbench at Insurance Tech 2026
ScienceSoft will demonstrate an AI workbench designed to reduce claims processing time from weeks to same-day at the Insurance Tech and Innovation Conference 2026, taking place June 10-11 in Chicago at the Hilton Suites Chicago, Magnificent Mile.
Vital Soupel, Senior Insurance IT and AI Consultant at ScienceSoft, will present "How to Reduce the Claims Lifecycle From Weeks to Same-Day With AI" on June 11 at 10:10 a.m. CT. The presentation will focus on how AI can coordinate handoffs across the claims process while keeping adjusters in control.
What the Presentation Covers
Soupel will explain why claim cycle time depends on managing handoffs across the entire lifecycle rather than automating individual tasks. A single fast task doesn't speed claims if bottlenecks exist elsewhere.
The workbench operates on top of existing policy, claims, document, and communication systems-no replacement of legacy infrastructure required. Different AI model types handle distinct tasks: classification, drafting, photo analysis, and decision logic.
Specialized computer vision models assess property damage photos and support estimate review. The system maintains audit trails, confidence thresholds, and human approval gates to meet regulatory requirements.
