SK Group Brings Executives and Employees Together for AI Acceleration Forum
SK Group will hold a three-day forum this week to discuss how the conglomerate can move faster in artificial intelligence. The 2026 New Icheon Forum runs Thursday through Saturday at the SKMS Research Center in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.
About 50 senior executives will attend, including Chairman Chey Tae-won, Executive Vice Chairman Chey Jae-won, and CEOs from major affiliates. The event focuses on how AI is reshaping business and SK's plans to accelerate artificial intelligence transformation, or AX, across its divisions.
Merging Strategy and Operations
SK combined its annual first-half strategy meeting with the Icheon Forum, an existing event that brings together employees, executives, and outside experts to discuss technology trends. The group plans to hold this integrated forum every June.
The decision reflects how quickly AI is moving. By putting executives and employees in the same room, SK believes it can speed up decision-making and execution.
Three-Day Agenda
The first day features executive-led reviews of AX goals and execution plans across affiliates, including CEO panel discussions. Employees take the second day to discuss field-level changes, adoption obstacles, and organizational improvements needed to implement AI.
The final day focuses on sharing action plans by affiliate and building momentum for faster AX adoption across the group.
