TGI Solar Power Group CEO Takes AAPG Leadership Role as Company Pushes Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Samuel Epstein, chief executive of TGI Solar Power Group Inc., has been elected secretary/editor of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists' House of Delegates. The role places him in charge of policy governance, membership representation, and coordination across the organization's global sections.

The appointment coincides with TGI's expansion into the $29.3 billion modular data center market, where the company is positioning its AXINOD™ platform for sovereign AI and specialized computing applications.

What the AAPG Role Entails

As secretary/editor, Epstein will oversee three core functions:

  • Formulating and amending the organization's bylaws, constitution, and operational guidelines
  • Serving as the primary legislative channel for affiliated regional societies worldwide
  • Coordinating communication across global sections to ensure alignment with executive leadership

Epstein said the position allows him to "bridge the gap between traditional energy sectors and the technological future."

AXINOD™ Strategy Targets Finance and Government Markets

TGI is focusing AXINOD™ on two high-value sectors: Finance, which accounts for 32.3% of the modular data center market, and Sovereign GovCloud applications requiring domestic data geofencing.

The platform incorporates direct-to-chip immersion cooling that reduces cooling energy consumption by 92%, according to the company. TGI also plans to redirect waste heat to industrial manufacturing and district heating systems-what it calls a "Catching Heat" strategy for edge computing resilience.

The company is targeting India and China as primary markets for its sovereign AI infrastructure.
