The University of Miami Business School and IESE Business School will run their second joint Leadership in the Age of AI program October 20-22, 2026, on the University of Miami campus. The three-day executive education course targets senior executives and C-suite leaders who need frameworks for guiding AI adoption without losing the human element of leadership. No technical background is required.
The curriculum covers AI-driven decision-making, organizational readiness, ethical leadership, innovation, and integration strategies across business functions. Faculty from both institutions will lead interactive workshops, case studies, and executive discussions. Participants earn a joint certificate from both schools upon completion.
A second run after strong demand
The program follows its inaugural offering, which drew executives from healthcare, finance, technology, higher education, and other sectors. Rony Shir, Assistant Dean of Lifelong Learning and Executive Education at the University of Miami, said AI is reshaping every industry, "but successful transformation depends on leadership and not just technology."
Odalis Santa, Director of Care Coordination at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, attended the first session. "This was such a fantastic experience for me. It was more than a training; it was an interactive opportunity to experience the integration of the human experience and AI as a choreographed dance that will continue to evolve," she said.
Luis Casas, Managing Director of Executive Education at IESE Business School, framed the partnership as a way to "combine global perspectives with practical leadership development." He added that organizations need leaders who can adopt AI responsibly while creating value for employees, customers, and communities.

Enrollment is capped to keep the classroom intimate and encourage peer learning. The structure gives executives room to exchange ideas with counterparts from other industries and build professional connections that extend beyond the three days.
