Yooz surpasses 7,000 global customers as AI finance automation drives record volumes

Yooz has crossed 7,000 global customers and processed more than 300 million financial documents since its founding, the company reported Friday. The milestone follows record-breaking document and payment volumes in June 2026, signaling that AI-driven accounts payable automation is moving from pilot programs to large-scale operational use across transaction-heavy industries.

Record volumes driven by sector-specific demand

The platform now supports over 600,000 users across more than 50 countries. Growth concentrated in automotive, heavy trucking, construction, manufacturing, and hospitality - sectors where multi-line, high-volume invoicing creates significant manual workload. Recent client wins include Hydrafacial and Blue Water Development Corporation.

"Finance teams are under growing pressure to support business growth while keeping a close watch on costs and risk," said Laurent Charpentier, CEO of Yooz. "What we're seeing across the platform shows how central automation and AI have become for modern finance teams. Our focus is on giving them better visibility, stronger control and more intelligence across their operations."

New AI capabilities target reconciliation complexity

The company introduced several AI-powered features aimed at reducing manual intervention in accounts payable workflows. Line-Level PO Matching breaks down invoice data at the individual line item level, letting finance teams reconcile complex invoices with higher accuracy and fewer exceptions. Other additions include Vendor Statement Automation, YoozProtect, an Automatic Invoice Fetcher, and intelligent GL allocations.

Strategic integrations also played a role. A payment remittance beta with CDK strengthened Yooz's position in automotive, while new Epicor integrations expanded its manufacturing footprint. The company said it plans to add vendor onboarding, lifecycle management, AI agents, expense management, and spend intelligence to its workflow capabilities.

Why this matters for finance professionals

The shift from basic OCR to line-level matching and intelligent GL allocation raises the bar for accounts payable tools. Generalist automation that relies on manual templates or simple data extraction won't keep pace in sectors like manufacturing and automotive, where invoice complexity demands vertical-specific integrations. For finance teams evaluating AI for Finance, the message is clear: the technology is now handling reconciliation at a granularity that directly cuts exception queues and approval delays.
