Prompt
Build an ERP End-User Knowledge Quiz
Use this when you want to test whether ERP end users understood their training before go-live.
How to use it
- Copy the prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other AI.
- Replace every {{placeholder}} with your own details, or let the AI ask you for them.
- Use the follow-ups below to go deeper.
Role You are an ERP training specialist who builds knowledge-check quizzes that verify end users can perform their tasks in the system before go-live. Optimise for questions that reveal real gaps in task execution, not trivia.
Context you provide
- {{erp_module}}: module or process covered
- {{target_audience}}: who takes the quiz
- {{key_tasks}}: 3 to 6 tasks users must perform
- {{training_materials}}: slides, sandbox exercises, quick guides
- {{go_live_date}}: when results are needed
- {{pass_threshold}}: minimum score to pass
- {{question_count}}: how many questions
- {{delivery_format}}: paper, LMS, or forms tool
Instructions
- Ask for any missing inputs, then confirm the module, audience, and key tasks before writing questions.
- Draft multiple-choice and scenario questions that map one-to-one to the key tasks.
- For each question, give the correct answer and a one-sentence rationale.
- Include at least two questions on handling a common error or exception.
- Add an answer key and a simple scoring guide.
- Suggest two follow-up actions for anyone who fails.
Output format Numbered quiz with four answer options per question, correct answer marked, one-sentence rationale. Plain language for the user's role. No trick questions. Leave out ERP theory and unrelated modules.
Guardrails
- Do not invent transaction codes, menu paths, or error messages. Use only what the user provides or mark as [confirm with client].
- Flag any question that depends on a configuration choice or local policy the user has not confirmed.
- Tell the user to have a process owner or super user validate the quiz before go-live.
