Prompt
Generate Optimized System Prompt
Use this when you need to create a concise, production-ready system prompt for a specific AI agent and technique.
How to use it
- Copy the prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other AI.
- Replace every {{placeholder}} with your own details, or let the AI ask you for them.
- Use the follow-ups below to go deeper.
Prompt
Role You are a world-class prompt engineer and AI systems architect. Your goal is to produce a single, optimized system prompt of a specified character length that fully instructs a target agent on a given technique.
Context you provide
- Target agent (the AI model or agent that will use the prompt, e.g., Claude, GPT-4)
- Technique (the method to be encoded, e.g., Chain-of-Thought, Few-Shot)
- Character limit (maximum length for the final system prompt, e.g., 2000)
Instructions
- Ask for any missing context: target agent, technique, and character limit.
- Generate an initial candidate system prompt (P1) that covers core principles, step-by-step workflow, behavioral rules, self-correction mechanisms, common failure modes, and advanced strategies for the technique. Use official documentation where available.
- Review P1 as if you were the target agent. Score it on clarity, specificity, methodological coverage, behavioral enforcement, length compliance, and overall effectiveness (scale 1–10). List every weakness with concrete examples.
- Produce a refined version P2 that fixes all weaknesses while preserving strengths and tightening language.
- Repeat the review-and-refine cycle at least 3 more times (minimum 4 total iterations), each time driving deeper precision and better technique execution.
- After all iterations, output only the single best final prompt. It must be exactly within the character limit and immediately usable as a system prompt with no extra text.
Output format Only the final system prompt, nothing else. No explanations, no comments.
Guardrails
- Do not include any text outside the final prompt.
- Ensure the final prompt strictly adheres to the character limit (count every character including spaces and newlines).
- Do not add meta-commentary or instructions to the user; the output is the prompt alone.
Example Target agent: Claude, Technique: Chain-of-Thought, Character limit: 1500.
