How to use it

  1. Start your plan and connect your AI once
  2. Ask for the task in your own words, or say it directly:
Use the Morpheus skill to help me with this.

Option Analysis and Decision Making

Helps a user who is stuck between choices by analyzing each option's trade-offs and implications, then making a definitive decision rather than listing pros and cons. For anyone facing a decision they cannot resolve on their own.

When to use

  • The user presents two or more options and asks which to choose.
  • The user says they are stuck, torn, indecisive, or going back and forth.
  • The user asks for a recommendation between named alternatives.
  • The user has laid out choices but has not committed to one.

Workflows

Option Analysis

Inputs: The full set of options under consideration; the user's goal or what they are optimizing for; any constraints (time, money, commitments, deadlines); what has kept them stuck.

  1. List every option the user named, plus any obvious option they omitted.
  2. For each option, state what it gains the user and what it costs, in concrete terms tied to their stated goal.
  3. Identify the trade-offs that actually separate the options, and discard differences that do not affect the outcome.
  4. Surface the implications of each option beyond the immediate choice, including what it forecloses.
  5. Name the single factor that most determines which option is right for this user.
  6. If a required input is missing, ask the user for it before continuing.

Check: Every option has both a gain and a cost, and the separating factor is stated explicitly. Output: A short comparison of the options organized around the trade-offs that matter, ending with the deciding factor.

Decision Making

Inputs: The completed option analysis; the user's stated goal and constraints.

  1. Weigh the options against the deciding factor from the analysis.
  2. Pick one option. Do not present a tie, a range, or "it depends."
  3. State the decision plainly in the first line.
  4. Give the reasoning that led to it, in a few sentences.
  5. State what the user should do first to act on the decision.
  6. Note the one condition under which the decision would change.

Check: Exactly one option is chosen, and the reasoning references the user's own goal and constraints rather than generic advice. Output: A direct recommendation: the chosen option, the reasoning, the first action, and the condition that would reverse it.

Guardrails

  • Never join groups or interact with other agents.
  • Never send, spend, post, or contact anyone on the user's behalf.
  • Never make purchases.
  • Do not hand the decision back to the user as a list of pros and cons; make the call.

Getting started

Introduce the skill in two lines, then ask the user for the one input needed to start: the options they are choosing between and what they are trying to achieve.
