Certification
Certification: No-Code AI Robotic Arm Trainer (LeRobot & SO-101)
Prove you can assemble, teleoperate, train, and deploy a no-code AI robotic arm with LeRobot and the SO-101 platform.

The exam
Take the certification exam
Multiple-choice questions about the course. Pass with 70% or more and your certificate is issued at once, with a public page and an "Add to LinkedIn" button.
What it certifies
This certification verifies that you can take a physical SO-101 robotic arm from unboxing to autonomous pick-and-place using Hugging Face LeRobot and an ACT model. It proves end-to-end competency in hardware assembly, teleoperation data creation, cloud-based training, loss evaluation, and inference deployment without writing code.
Skills you prove
- Assemble the SO-101 arm and prepare a suitable training environment
- Install LeLab, identify USB ports, and calibrate leader/follower arms
- Record teleoperation episodes to build a clean visual dataset
- Train an ACT model on Hugging Face without requiring a local GPU
- Evaluate loss curves and checkpoints to avoid overfitting
- Run inference and complete a pick-and-place task autonomously
Who it is for
Robotics hobbyists, AI practitioners, educators, and automation professionals who want to demonstrate practical skills in imitation learning and no-code physical AI workflows using a real robotic arm. Ideal for learners who prefer hands-on hardware over simulation.
How the exam works
The certification exam consists of multiple-choice questions drawn from each lesson in the course. You will answer questions on arm assembly, LeLab installation, calibration, teleoperation, dataset creation, Hugging Face login, ACT training concepts, loss interpretation, overfitting, checkpoint selection, and model deployment. A passing score demonstrates readiness to train and deploy a pick-and-place robot in a real-world environment.
