Ahrefs launches AI agent workspace Letaido for marketers

Marketing intelligence company Ahrefs launched Letaido today, an agent-powered workspace that takes over the recurring research, reporting and monitoring work that fills up a marketing team's week. The product is pitched as the missing shared layer for teams still using generative AI in isolated tasks - a writer drafts with it here, an analyst pulls numbers there, with nothing connecting the two.

A Boston Consulting Group survey of 300 marketing chiefs for its 2026 global CMO report found that 42% still use generative AI only on discrete tasks. Only about 8% said they run campaigns where several agents work autonomously. Gartner found that 81% of marketing technology leaders are either piloting AI agents or have put them into production, with content and asset production the most common use case.

How the platform works

Teams can hand Letaido agents multistep jobs, schedule recurring workflows, build dashboards and reports, and set up continuous monitoring of their own sites and competitors. A visual interface shows outputs as agents produce them, so more than one person can review and refine the same piece of work. Built-in hosting keeps automations running after a conversation ends - the sharpest break from chatbot-style assistants that reset every session.

Access to Ahrefs data is native. A marketer can prompt Letaido for link analysis, keyword research or AI visibility monitoring without standing up custom API integrations, then push results into reports and workflows. Other jobs include clustering trending keywords, finding content gaps and interpreting technical site audits. Letaido connects to software including Notion, Slack, HubSpot, Google Ads and WordPress.

Real-world results

AI visibility agency Foundation Marketing Services was among early users. Founder and CEO Ross Simmonds said keyword research and bottom-of-funnel content audits used to eat a full 40-hour week. "With Letaido, those hours can now go toward the work that actually matters: thinking, strategy and creativity," Simmonds said. He described the previous process as years of "clicking through reports, exporting CSVs, filtering data" across several tools.

Business context

Ahrefs has never raised outside money and says it now runs profitably on more than $100 million in annual recurring revenue. The company's web index runs past 170 trillion pages. Ahrefs also tracks more than 439 million AI prompts a month to feed its AI visibility data. The company framed the launch around discovery moving off search engines and into AI tools, with agents doing the research, monitoring and execution a marketer would otherwise do by hand.

Why this matters for marketers

The product addresses a gap the BCG survey quantified: most marketing teams still work in disconnected AI silos. For marketing managers looking to move from isolated chatbot sessions to persistent, shared agent workflows, Letaido is one of the first platforms that combines native search data, multi-tool integrations and scheduled automation in one visual workspace. For those seeking to build these skills systematically, an AI Learning Path for Marketing Managers covers campaign optimization and agent-driven analytics. General AI for Marketing courses also cover the techniques Letaido automates - content clustering, site auditing and keyword analysis - that marketers now need to direct rather than execute by hand.
