As South Africa marks Youth Month, Singularity South Africa has announced its 2025 Summit, scheduled for 22–23 October at the Sandton Convention Centre. The event will focus on AI-powered education and the future of learning for Africa’s youth under the theme “Igniting Africa’s Future.” Supported by Old Mutual and metaverse partner UBU, the summit will examine how technologies such as AI, robotics, and the metaverse can transform education across the continent.

With nearly 60% of Africa’s population under 25, the summit will emphasize scalable, inclusive, and locally relevant solutions. These include AI tutors, adaptive learning platforms, and data-driven policy-making approaches. Robotics demonstrations and immersive learning experiences will illustrate how technology can close skills gaps and prepare youth for future job markets.

Key topics will cover digital literacy, lifelong learning, AI ethics in education, and emerging career opportunities in a changing economy. Attendees can engage in interactive workshops, explore a curated expo, and take part in metaverse-based networking sessions.
