aiEDU Studios Launches Weekly Video Podcast to Explore AI’s Role in Education and Society

The AI Education Project launches aiEDU Studios, a new video channel offering in-depth talks on AI, education, policy, and the future of work. Weekly episodes feature expert insights for educators nationwide.

The AI Education Project Launches aiEDU Studios: A New Video Channel Focused on AI and Education

The AI Education Project (aiEDU) has introduced aiEDU Studios, a video-first content platform aimed at bringing clear, in-depth conversations about artificial intelligence, education, policy, and the future of work. This initiative is designed to offer educators and education professionals a richer understanding of how AI is shaping classrooms and communities across the country.

The channel debuts with a weekly video podcast series featuring experts from diverse fields such as technology, media, AI, and entertainment. These conversations address the practical challenges and opportunities AI presents for schools and learners, going beyond surface-level discussions to provide meaningful insights.

Long-Form Discussions with Leading Voices

aiEDU Studios is hosted by Alex Kotran, co-founder and CEO of aiEDU. He highlights that the project emerged from the need for deeper dialogue. After participating in hundreds of conferences, the team noticed that AI discussions often remain high-level and brief. This series aims to extend these talks into longer, more substantial conversations.

Initial episodes feature Kumar Garg, President of Renaissance Philanthropy and former senior White House science advisor, and Zarek Drozda, Executive Director of Data Science 4 Everyone. Their discussions explore thoughtful AI implementation and the ongoing importance of coding skills, even as AI tools evolve.

  • Kumar Garg emphasizes using AI thoughtfully to address longstanding societal issues. He remarks, "AI is in the news a lot — but who is implementing that capability?"
  • Zarek Drozda points out that AI advancements do not eliminate the need for foundational tech skills like coding. "Students learned how to do things on calculators, but we didn't get rid of arithmetic," he explains.

Accessibility and Resources for Educators

The series will be available on YouTube and all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Short-form clips will also be shared on LinkedIn and other social channels. Episodes will be released weekly to maintain a steady flow of relevant insights.

aiEDU is actively supporting educators nationwide by providing free AI curriculum, professional development, and strategic guidance. So far, the organization has trained over 10,000 educators and reached approximately 230,000 students in all 50 states.

For education professionals interested in building AI knowledge, aiEDU Studios offers a valuable resource to stay informed on how AI intersects with teaching and learning.
