Aircall acquires Piper AI to connect sales conversations to deal execution

Aircall has acquired Piper AI, a revenue intelligence platform that tracks sales activity across calls, email, messaging and field interactions. The deal expands Aircall's focus beyond call recording and transcription into automated pipeline management and deal tracking.

Piper AI's software captures sales signals across multiple communication channels and converts them into CRM updates, deal scores, risk alerts and automated follow-up actions-without requiring manual data entry. Aircall says customers using Piper AI reduced CRM data-entry time by more than 50% in the first month and improved forecast accuracy by 50%.

The problem Aircall is solving

Sales activity rarely happens in one place. A deal might involve calls, emails, meetings and messages spread across weeks, but those interactions often sit outside standard pipeline reports unless a rep enters them manually.

Piper AI addresses this by capturing engagement data across a deal's lifecycle and turning it into structured information that CRM systems can act on. The software also supports qualification frameworks like MEDDIC, BANT and SPICED across all touchpoints, not just calls.

The platform includes a workflow engine that triggers alerts, routes handoffs, generates pre-meeting briefs and executes scheduled actions when deal conditions change. Sales teams can respond to pipeline shifts without manually launching each task.

What Aircall brings to the deal

Aircall operates in more than 100 countries and serves more than 23,000 businesses. The company passed $200 million in annual recurring revenue and maintains 250+ native integrations with other business tools.

Aircall's existing AI Assist products already provide account briefs before calls, live prompts during conversations and post-call summaries. The Piper AI acquisition extends that capability beyond voice into email, SMS, WhatsApp and field activity tracking.

Piper AI's team is based in Spain. Aircall was founded in Paris. The company says the combination strengthens its European AI talent while serving a global customer base.

Why this matters for sales teams

Software vendors are moving beyond note-taking and summaries into actual deal management. The shift reflects what sales leaders have long known: capturing what happened in a conversation matters less than what happens next.

By connecting conversation data directly to pipeline workflows, Aircall is betting that sales teams will spend less time on administrative work and more time selling. Whether that plays out depends on how well the integration actually works in practice.

For sales professionals using Aircall or considering it, the acquisition signals the company's direction: toward platforms that reduce friction between customer interactions and sales execution.
