Airia Launches Model Risk Management Tool for Microsoft Foundry
Airia released a Model Risk Management solution integrated with Microsoft Foundry on May 26, designed to help enterprises monitor and validate autonomous AI systems across the Microsoft ecosystem. The platform addresses a growing governance challenge: employees deploying unsanctioned AI tools that create data privacy risks and compliance violations.
Enterprise AI governance has moved beyond experimentation. Organizations now face regulatory requirements to validate, monitor, and document everything flowing through AI models. The stakes are higher with autonomous agents that retrieve data, execute workflows, and improve their own behavior through feedback loops.
What the Solution Does
The platform delivers continuous validation of AI agents rather than periodic checkpoints. It uses Foundry's built-in evaluators to assess agent quality, safety, and language processing metrics against production traffic.
The system detects behavioral drift-when agents deviate from expected performance. Every iteration is logged for audit purposes, and production evaluations surface recommendations for agent owners before changes reach live environments.
Airia integrates with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Defender for AI, and Microsoft Purview to provide unified governance across Microsoft AI deployments. Pre-mapped compliance frameworks cover SR 11-7, the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, HIPAA, and SOC 2, with automated evidence collection and gap analysis.
The Business Problem
Kevin Kiley, CEO of Airia, said the challenge is visibility. "Every enterprise has AI running right now-tools they approved, tools they didn't, and tools they've never heard of," he said.
The solution discovers shadow AI across organizations and applies real-time guardrails to agents. CIOs gain control regardless of which platforms or models their teams use.
Anand Raman, GM Americas for AI at Microsoft, said the integration provides "a comprehensive control plane for Model Risk Management which supports responsible AI deployment, continuous validation, and regulatory alignment."
Availability
The Airia MRM solution is available now through the Microsoft Marketplace and Azure Commercial Marketplace.
