Alpha Compute appoints two leaders to support growing AI infrastructure business

Alpha Compute Corp. (NASDAQ: ALP), a GPU infrastructure and confidential-compute company, has named two new executives to its Global Infrastructure Business as it works through a $1.5 billion sales pipeline. Anne Schoofs joins as Vice President of Client Success, and Jose Rios comes aboard as an Advisor focused on silicon strategy and data center design.

The appointments target the operational side of the company's growth. Schoofs will manage strategic enterprise accounts and oversee technical onboarding for high-density compute and AI infrastructure deployments. Rios, a former Vice President and General Manager of Custom Solutions at Intel, will advise on silicon strategy and Blackwell-class fleet scaling.

Two decades of client management experience

Schoofs brings more than 20 years of Fortune 500 account management experience from Sprint, Wipro, ATOS/Maven, and SymphonyAI. She holds a bachelor of arts with honors from Harvard University, where she was a member of the varsity women's golf team, and studied data science at Johns Hopkins University.

In her new role, Schoofs is responsible for keeping client deployments running at peak efficiency and building long-term partnerships as Alpha Compute expands its global data center footprint. Her work sits at the intersection of technical execution and customer relationships - the same skills that matter for professionals in AI for Customer Support roles, where technical fluency and client communication go hand in hand.

Silicon and infrastructure advisory

Rios spent roughly 25 years in compute infrastructure and silicon at Intel, where he led data center programs and custom silicon efforts spanning gaming and autonomous driving. At Alpha Compute, he will provide counsel on high-density compute architecture and data center design as the company scales its fleet.

"As demand for high-density, AI-ready compute accelerates, our ability to deliver is about the people who make sure every deployment performs flawlessly from day one," said Brittany Kaiser, CEO of Alpha Compute. "Anne's track record turning enterprise relationships into long-term partnerships, paired with Jose's deep silicon and data center expertise, gives us exactly the execution muscle we need to scale responsibly against a $1.5 billion pipeline."

The company said the hires are designed to strengthen the team behind its growing Global Infrastructure sales pipeline. Alpha Compute specializes in GPU-as-a-service and AI confidential computing for clients in finance, defense, intelligence, and media. It is domiciled in the British Virgin Islands with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Amsterdam, and Toronto.

For support professionals, the appointments signal that Alpha Compute is investing in the people who handle client deployments after the sale. That focus on technical onboarding and workload optimization reflects a broader shift in the industry: infrastructure companies increasingly treat client success as a technical discipline, not just a relationship role. Those looking to build similar skills can follow an AI Learning Path for Technical Support Specialists to prepare for the type of work Schoofs will oversee.

Why this matters for customer support professionals

The takeaway for customer support teams is specific: enterprise AI infrastructure clients expect onboarding and ongoing support to be handled by people who understand both the technology and the account. Schoofs's appointment puts a Fortune 500 account manager with data science training in charge of that function. For support professionals, that means technical depth - not just soft skills - is becoming the baseline for senior client success roles in the AI infrastructure sector.
